The popular interior design exhibition is coming to London for the first time

Founded by Iris Dankner, this highly respected exhibition will take place in London for the first time this November.  Featuring 23 top interior designers and brands the exhibition showcases their talents by transforming individual rooms across two dedicated houses in London’s St. Johns Wood.

Clive Christian are honoured to be collaborating with two designers Campion Platt & Rachel Laxter with a room in each property.  Our contemporary study collaboration has provided us with a special opportunity to exhibit our extraordinary design and craftsmanship capabilities – resulting in a beautifully furnished environment tailored perfectly for business or recreation alike.

Holiday House raises crucial funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation programs in the UK and we consciously incorporated this campaign into our design for the occasion.

The cabinetry is crafted from crown cut walnut and detailed with the characteristic brass pinstripe of our Metro Deco door. The professional sleek lines of the Metro Deco Inlay are a stark contrast to the playful, pink highlights; a nod to the tireless achievements that the BCRF represents.

The desk arrangement is the focal point of the room; a gravity defying surface adorned with fine burr walnut veneers – seamlessly flowing from the surrounding wall panelling.  The rich natural tones of the walnut interior are complimented beautifully by the brass; enhancing each and every unique grain tone, from rich chocolate to decadent caramel – the display is then ‘topped’ with the hot raspberry leather spotlight detailing – making the representation look good enough to eat!

Finally,  we complimented the room with an original piece of marquetry veneer artwork inspired by the BCRF ribbon – an iconic symbol that brings hope for families worldwide.  As well as raising awareness of this vital charity, this study bursts with personality and cannot fail to raise a smile from all who see it.

Holiday House London is open to the public from November 9th to December 10th 2017.

Tickets are on sale now.

Proceeds from ticket sales to Holiday House London benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation research programs in the UK. BCRF is committed to funding scientific research to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime.
